Within the framework of the Greece 2.0 program, funding is provided for 3 new development programs for the country:
1. Upgrading Mountain shelter facilities
The action aims to finance investment projects to improve the infrastructure of mountain shelters in Greece with the aim of achieving a smaller pollution footprint and lower energy consumption as well as extending the tourist season to 12 months a year. Beneficiaries of the Action are mountain shelters and all legal entities eligible for inclusion. The maximum subsidized budget is up to €250,000.
The submission period is from 25/10/2023 to 31/03/2024.
2. Upgrading ski center facilities
The action aims to finance investment projects aimed at promoting mountain tourism in Greece, alongside achieving environmental goals and strengthening the circular economy. Beneficiaries of the Action are Eligible ski resorts and all legal entities. The maximum budget per investment project is set at €10,000.00.
The submission period is from 25/10/2023 to 31/03/2024.
3. Improving and modifying the accessibility of Greek beaches
The aim of the action is to improve and promote the accessibility of beaches and related facilities in Greece, in order to ensure easy access for all visitors, including people with reduced mobility. Beneficiaries of the Action are Enterprises in Legal Form, Public Real Estate Company, OTA of the first degree (Municipalities). The maximum budget per beach is set at €70,000.00.
The submission period is from 25/10/2023 to 25/01/2024.
