A minimum <strong>share capital <\/strong>of 25,000 euros is required for its establishment . If the capital exceeds 3 million euros, approval from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindev.gov.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Development<\/a> is required . The <strong>formation of the SA<\/strong> is done electronically through the One Stop Service (e-YMS).  <\/p>\n<p>The SA can be established by one or more persons and the liability of the shareholders is limited to the amount of their participation. The articles of association prescribe the relations of the shareholders and the management of the company. The <strong>ABETE<\/strong> and <strong>ABEE<\/strong> forms are also Joint Stock Companies, with the difference that \u2013 in addition to commercial \u2013 they also have industrial or technical activities. The conversion is accepted with a 2\/3 majority. Afterwards, a report is made by the Committee on the evaluation of the assets of the IKE. The conversion agreement is signed before a notary public, and includes the conversion decision and the new statute of the SA.   <\/p>\n<p>The notarial document is then sent to GEMI, which arranges for the registration and posting of the notice on its website. IKE <strong>maintains its legal personality<\/strong> , it just changes its form and is now treated as an SA for accounting and tax purposes. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1abc7efe elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1abc7efe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Limited Company - Advantages  Disadvantages<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26669619 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26669619\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>SA has higher <strong>prestige and credibility <\/strong>in the market. In addition, the shares of an SA can be easily transferred without affecting the operation of the company, facilitating succession and attracting new shareholders. In addition, SAs can more easily invest in various sectors,<strong> participate in joint ventures and tenders for<\/strong> large projects, thus increasing their profitability.  <\/p>\n<p>The establishment and management of an SA, of course, requires <strong>compliance with strict legal and regulatory requirements<\/strong> as well as the publication of financial statements.
